This policy explains what information the SwipeSlots app for iPhone and iPad collects, why, and what choices you have. SwipeSlots is a casino-style slots game. It uses virtual coins with no cash value. It offers no real-money gambling, and coins and winnings can never be cashed out or exchanged for prizes.
In short: SwipeSlots has no account and we don't collect any personal information ourselves. Your game progress stays on your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device data to serve them. Purchases and leaderboards are handled by Apple.
Information we collect ourselves
None. We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, or any account. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools of ours, and your play is not sent to any server of ours.
Your coin balance, game statistics, settings and purchase records are stored on your own device. Deleting the app deletes them. If you have iCloud device backups enabled, this data may be included in your backup, which is controlled by Apple and by your device settings.
Information collected by Google AdMob
The free version of the app shows a banner ad, occasional full-screen ads between spins, and optional rewarded video ads for bonus coins, served by Google AdMob. To do this, Google's software may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), if you allow tracking;
- coarse device and app information, such as model, operating system version, language, and approximate location derived from IP address;
- which ads were shown, viewed or tapped.
Google uses this to select and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices about ads
- App Tracking Transparency. iOS asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, your advertising identifier is not shared and you will see less relevant ads. You can play the game either way, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Consent where required. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent choices for personalized ads before any ads load. You can change them at any time in the app under Profile → Settings → Privacy choices.
- Remove ads. A SwipeSlots Premium subscription (monthly or yearly) removes banner and full-screen ads. Rewarded ads stay available to subscribers, but only when you choose to watch one.
Game Center
SwipeSlots uses Apple Game Center for sign-in and leaderboards (coin balance, biggest win and total spins). If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits those scores to Apple, and your Game Center nickname and scores may be visible to other players on the leaderboards. Game Center is operated by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can sign out of Game Center or change your profile visibility at any time in Settings → Game Center. The game works without it.
Purchases
SwipeSlots offers optional coin packs and an optional SwipeSlots Premium subscription. In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment card, and no billing details reach us or are stored in the app. Apple's handling of transactions is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Children
SwipeSlots is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app simulates casino play and is intended for an adult audience. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Data retention and deletion
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Removing the app removes everything it stored on your device. To have Google delete advertising data associated with your device identifier, reset or disable the identifier in iOS Settings. Game Center scores are held by Apple and can be managed through your Apple Account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, or to object to its processing. Since we hold none, such requests should be directed to Google for advertising data, or to Apple for purchases and Game Center. We are happy to help you identify the right contact.
Responsible play
SwipeSlots is for entertainment only. Success in social casino games does not imply future success at real-money gambling. If gambling is causing problems for you or someone you know, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it in the app's release notes.
