This policy explains what information the Video Blackjack app for iPhone and iPad collects, why, and what choices you have. Video Blackjack is a free casino-style card game. It uses virtual coins with no cash value and offers no real-money gambling.
Information we collect ourselves
None. We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, or any account. There is no login, no analytics or crash-reporting tool, and no server of ours that your play is sent to.
Your coin balance, ad-free status and game settings are stored on your own device. Deleting the app deletes them. If you have iCloud device backups enabled, this data may be included in your backup, which is controlled by Apple and by your device settings.
Information collected by Google AdMob
The free version of the app shows banner ads, occasional full-screen ads between hands, and optional rewarded video ads for bonus coins, served by Google AdMob. To do this, Google's software may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), if you allow tracking;
- coarse device and app information, such as model, operating system version, language, and approximate location derived from IP address;
- which ads were shown, viewed or tapped.
Google uses this to select and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices about ads
- App Tracking Transparency. iOS asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, your advertising identifier is not shared and you will see less relevant ads. You can play the game either way, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Remove ads. Any coin purchase in the shop permanently removes banner and full-screen ads from the app.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment card, and no billing details reach us or are stored in the app. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy. Purchased coins are consumable and are credited to the device that bought them.
Children
Video Blackjack is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app simulates casino card play and is intended for an adult audience. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Data retention and deletion
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Removing the app removes everything it stored on your device. To have Google delete advertising data associated with your device identifier, reset or disable the identifier in iOS Settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, or to object to its processing. Since we hold none, such requests should be directed to Google for advertising data, or to Apple for purchase data. We are happy to help you identify the right contact.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it in the app's release notes.
